Actually everything was very good, my next choice again in Krakow. I had air conditioned and beautifully decorated room with a balcony. An electric kettle and a fridge were provided if needed. Btw, the airport was 0.5 miles away.

The hotel was small therefore nice and quiet. The standards of cleanliness were excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful even going so far as to open the dining room fifteen minutes early so that we could have our breakfast before an early start for the airport on our last morning. The location was excellent I did not realise it was so near to the Market Square on booking ( within a 10 minute stroll for even the slowest of walkers ) but being on a side street there was no traffic noise. We will definitely use this hotel again if we go back to Krakow and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

The staff at the Hotel Amber were marvelous. All requests were met with a smile. Courteous & helpful!

The location was perfect, just a short walk to attractions.
Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast options. The hot breakfast variety was quite limited that appealed to us. We encountered issues with the bed arrangement. The two single beds pushed together didn't provide a proper double bed feel, and we could feel the join in the middle. I expected something more comfortable for our three-night stay.

The staff - in particular the staff at reception - smiling, pleasant, helpful, courteous, welcoming in a very natural manner - a lovely way to start the day or to come back inside from the frozen outside. Breakfast was good, room was spacious & clean ( deluxe double ), bathroom well stocked & clean. Cherry Vodka in room a real treat!
Hard to point out anything really - few cobwebs high up in the corners of the room, would like brighter light/lamp in room I found the light a little dim even with the main lights on, felt like they were in the wrong place for our room I.E. no light over wardrobe area so difficult to see into it sometimes - lets be clear though I really liked the Hotel Amber.

great location but crowded breakfast area
The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes away from the city center. The room was spacious and clean, with a mini fridge that was quite handy. I appreciated the varied breakfast selection with fresh fruits and pastries. The presence of a kettle in the room helped to enjoy warm drinks whenever I wanted.

Small and friendly hotel. Comfortable beds. Clean, modern bathroom. Very helpful reception staff. Good location for central square, castle etc
The hot food at breakfast was very slow at being replenished. Some mornings gave up waiting. No fridge in hotel room.

This is the way all hotels should be run. The ambiance is cozy, the rooms and the comon areas are well done up. The staff couldn\t be more friendly and helpful. This hotel is great value for money. We have often spent more and gotten a lot less in other European cities. We would highly reccomend it to everyone.
The only criticism is that the beds were a little on the over firm side.
